RPM Speed Rope Giveaway!

Limited Edition 'The Rx Review' RPM Speed Rope!

Limited Edition ‘The Rx Review’ RPM Speed Rope!

Earlier this year we wrote a review on the RPM Speed Rope, which claims to be the ‘fastest speed rope on the market’.

At the time, the brand was relatively new to the CrossFit world. But in the past few months the RPM Speed Rope has been seriously embraced by the community, with athletes, coaches and box owners from all corners of the world using the product.

According to RPM Fitness, their jump ropes are the ‘smoothest’, and ‘most accurate’ on the planet, allowing athletes to reach ‘record breaking speeds’ while training.

This was proven a few weeks ago when Competitive Jump Roper Shane Winsor used the RPM Speed Rope to break the world record of double unders in one minute. His feat of 164 double unders was filmed with the video embedded below.

With the 2013 CrossFit Regionals kicking off this week, we thought we’d celebrate the occasion by giving you the chance to win one of three, limited edition ‘The Rx Review’ RPM Speed Ropes!

We will be selecting the three lucky winners all this week and have four ways for you to enter and win:

1. Answer the Question: If you already have an RPM Rope simply tell us what you like about it. Or if you want to try it, tell us why?”

2. Like RPM Fitness on Facebook

3. Follow RPM Fitness on Twitter

4. Follow RPM Fitness on Instagram

If you answer the question or like/follow them on Facebook, Twitter or Instaram tell us in a separate comment below. That way you could end up with 4 entries into the draw!

RPM Fitness will also be at the SoCal, NorCal, NorthWest, and CentralEast CrossFit Regionals over the next few weeks, so make sure you drop by their stand and get some tips from the pros on how to improve your double unders.

This competition is open to everyone in the world!

UPDATE: This competition is now over. Thanks to everyone who took part in it! Click here to find out if your were one of the lucky three winners.

  • Harrison

    Followed all accounts!

I just want to say i’ve been using a standard rope and it’s good but I feel like my performance is lacking due to the handles being very light.

I feel that when I start fatiguing because of the light handles the rope doesn’t spin as well. This is where the RPM rope comes in. It looks very well made and the handles look solid with a good amount of weight to be able measure how much wrist action you are skipping with.

This rope certainly has the ability to turn 50 double under PR’s in 100-200 Double Under PR’s.

I use a Rogue speed rope now and have been wanting to try the RPM rope because I have heard great things about them. Been working on triple unders because I follow the Outlaw Way programming and Rudy has programmed them in. So far I can just do 1 and I’m unable to string them together but with this rope I’m sure it would be much easier. Thanks and I hope I’m a winner!

  • Charles Widman

I do not own a RPM Jump Rope but I’m always looking for anything that will give me an advantage over my fellow athletes at my box. I’m known as “The Strong Guy” so anything cardio intensive, ie Double Unders, destroy me on WOD’s! Pick me Pick me Pick me, please help me get past my current Double Under PR of 50 and move on to becoming a better athlete!

I’m following RPM Fitness on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram too.

    • Charles Widman

I’m now home from the SoCal Regional’s and I made sure to stop by their booth and mention the drawing on here. The whole team at RPM Fitness was excited that crossfitters in SoCal new about your site, and we super friendly in showing us their jump ropes and letting us practice with them. Additionally, the staff at RPM Fitness helped out my coach in a huge way by adjusting a loaner rope he was provided just minutes before his heat as his jump rope had been left behind by accident. If I win this rope it would now have even more of a sentimental value to me besides just helping me with my own double unders.

i got another competitor’s ropes but still feels like it doesnt spin as fast as it should. I think with RPM ropes (touted as the most smoothest), i think it will improve my efficiency with double unders (not feeling so fatigue too also will be great!!!). in that case, move over double unders, trip unders and maybe quad unders???? hope i get chosen!

i would love to try the RPM rope, i was always considering getting an again faster rope until this one came out. I have heard nothing but great things about this rope about how it will better your technique with its unique design. There are also limited ways of getting the RMP ropes to Australia without paying more for shipping than the rope itself! All in all, double unders always need to be worked on, considering they are bound to come up in nearly every workout. With an RPM rope, in no time my double unders will improve 100% – I’ll even promise a video to show the results!

Not only am I horrible at DUs and want to be an expert at them, I also can never seem to find a rope at my xfit gym that works for me. I always seem to get stuck with the ones that have a broken swivel, permanent kinks in the rope, or half a handle. To have my own excellent speed rope that I can practice with all the time and become consistently good would be amazing! I also followed on FB, Twitter, and Instagram.
